Not to be a jerk but it just looks like you guys cut mounts off something else and welded them on a bike that you can already had. Some of those mounts look like they were just cut with a cutting wheel and grinded to form and are not matching.

Does all the extras come with it?

I know you put prototype but in my opinion taking a bike and bolting stuff on then adding crude mounts isnt a prototype it is a mock up.

Good luck on your project I do like the new plastics and if the rest of the goodies come with it for a low low price under 1500.00 bucks it might be a bargain as long as corners are not cut.

Yeah....but you are.....

And apparently don't have much of an engineering background...."in my opinion".

Go do some work on your own and produce a bike that maybe somebody will pay "under $1500 bucks for"....with the goodies....;)

Lol.....your intitled to your own opinion, and Im sorry you see it that way. Poor fella, thinks all we did was change plastics hehehe. (which doesnt that include changing/fabbing mounts?) You'll get a closer look soon there buddy. Let me remind you that if you dont like the fact that we are working very hard to break the "china bike" mold in ways OTHER THAN JUST PLASTIC, there are quite a few other vendors with over priced regular china bikes you can buy.....

can we hear what else you did or are gonna do to this bike

trying to make more hype then pitster does ? lol :p

FYI - We make our prototypes here in the US, both in La. and Nevada because we do not trust the chinese to do this engineering work for us... so we send them stuff to JIG and copy exactly... or we do not buy.

We are not hyping the 2011 Gen. #4 bike parts now... no other information will be given until you see the production bike with product specs in another 60 days or so...

In fairness to all our board members, we just posted up the tested mock-up bike with most of our changes... because we promised we would.

First... I need to validate that china can make all our changes and aquire and bolt-on all our new components... then I will update with exact specs. and detailed pics with zero deviation/confusion...

Additionally, please buy your bike from any other board vendor/member if you cannot wait until late sept. to consider one of ours.

I believe that is fair enough 4 all... cuz seeing is believing!

cheers and thanks for your interest in our products ;),

bob

Lastly, we are talking about a $1100+ China linkage roller mini bike here... Not a SCCA Pro Formula Atlantic race car... lets try to keep it real?

Poor fella .... no just have knowledge in bike building. I reengineer old bikes for customers for a living.

I didnt say your mounts wouldnt work or work less effectively then the original mounts. I said your mounts are mid evil looking so I would say you were doing a mock up not a prototype.

Any one can use Home Depot stock and pieces off another frame and come to the same result with trial and error.

A picture of the bike in its new plastics and new suspension ratios would have made the R and D you have done look professional. This to people in your industry shake their heads and say what the hell.

Nothing wrong with pumping a product just need to know what not to show.

People pay me for that advice ..... if you want anymore I charge 175.00 an hour minimum 8 hrs lol.

p.s. what are the new leverage ratio you came up with .... ?

Damn it Bob! STOP with the facts already will you?!

It's quite obvious that a portion of the community will not be happy until you give them a first-rate mini, with all the "goodies" for under $1500. You my friend are a snake oil salesman!!! lol

Forget the Formula Atlantic analogy....me don't think anyone here has a clue....

See you at the fireworks in downtown VC this weekend? Millstreasm has big doings on Sunday...or so I heard...:D

Im not exactly sure what I can....or cannot say on here so i will say this.....

A little birdie told me that the Gen4 is in Vegas right now getting some final adjustments. The bike is being tested and designed right here in the U.S., and the guys at Medina want to make sure its just right before it goes into production. Im sure you will have one before Christmas ;)
