Hi there,

I seem to recall many of you putting YX150 heads on your klx motors. A friend of mine wants to do the same "low cost" mod, and would like to have the basic guidelines.

Has anyone posted something easy to follow? I didn t find anything with the search button ;)

Thx,

Ben

i got one on my tb/2bros 155. runs nice, but it ticks... :/

Unless you cut deeper valve reliefs; that ticking is the valves hitting the top of the piston. I had a TB 143 clyinder, 55mm crank, and a new style TB piston.

So basically you guys are telling me it s just a simple bolt on? No machine work needed?

I would have been fine if I would have cut deeper valve reliefs in the piston.

Aight ;) I guess he will recut the piston pockets and also use 2 base gaskets... that should do it.

Anything special for the pipe or any stock / aftermarket pipe will do?
