My gpx 150 +R with longer gearing is already way faster.

Stock daytona has like 15,4 hp.

Right heres my low down on both the yx motor and the daytona 150, im running the daytona motor in my BBR v3 set up and the thing ripss the bottom end power is amazing and it just revs so hard, the yx with a v2 head on the other hand is fast but seems to rev out too fast it puts down the power well but seems not as agrresive as the daytona's power, you guys goin on hp figures arent doin the motors any favours the yx could have all the Hp in the world but not put it down very well, in my opinion the daytona is a better motor, wait till the high comp piston come out and the high rpm cam the motor will be a ripper! me and my friend ride at our local test track together and he runs the yx motor we both run the same gearing and his bike will not pull anything on the straights. videos will be up soon

If they say the daytona has 18.5 hp at the crank, boy that gearbox to drive the wheel is made from plastic, 3.1 hp loss.

The yx is faster, way faster will it snap cranks, break clutches, crack cases, throw kickstart bearings, have clutch nuts fall off....................

Well I said I already raced against two daytona 150's

My GPX with longer gearing is pretty much faster.

You wont even be able to use all that power on a track, it's stupid. There comes a point when there is just too much power, because it's almost uncontrollable, even with all the suspension. Especially the tracks too that most of us go to. They aren't that wide open, except a few.

 

well stock for stock the daytona wins but you do a 184 yx v2 you will have more RAW power then the daytona. the one thing the daytona has going for them is the trans, is trans has much better ratios then the yx.





the trans is what makes the daytona feel so fast
