Many have tried to mimic this...But everybody is still using old-school Honda motors or sticking to the Kawasaki. I for one am not into cross dressing, nore do I want my bike to be a cross dresser! Folks, For the first time in history of humanity we have our selfs a real deal CRF110 shoe horned into a BBR V2 frame! Honda body, Honda motor... EStart and all!!!

I am still working on my custom fuel tank, which will blend the tank/seat area much better, so for now I'm using the BBR tank that came with the frame.

This was day 1....

The motor wouldn't even get close to fitting... Not even close. So I had to man up... And dive into this build face first and full blown commit...

Drilled out the old mounts... And make my own mounts

The rear two motor mounts were kind of tricky... I had to make a dual mount that is supported by the swing arm.

After all of that... I was able to obtain the worlds TRICKEST shock... Ever put on a BBR V2! (On a mini) has comp, rebound, High speed adj. AND low speed adj!!!

And, to make a long story short...

Exhaust is prolly gonna end up being a ti/carbon Leo Vince. Not sure yet.

If you want to see it in person go to the 2UP ride days this weekend at Happy Ramblers!

For the Sub frame I tacked on some aluminum tabs drilled and tapped them. Same thing for rear fender. The tank has tabs to hold the shrouds, just for now. Bean (member on here) is in the middle of making some super trick carbon fiber fuel tanks!

Ben's work doesn't set the bar... It is the bar! I think from all his builds in the passed... He has quality that meets or exceeds any part market on the planet!

You know my vote... Do it! (As long as you have the fab skills/tools. To buy everything I made would be $1000's. No lie.

Lol... Yeah even the basic dnm shocks that come on a lxr are high/low adjustable. But that shock you have does look trick!! If I had a non linkage bike, I would kill to have that shock.

That tank mold just amazes me!!! I'm in love. How many are you guys going to build?

Also jordo, your rear engine mount is sick!!! I would have been stumped on that for awhile. It looks great!

It would be every nice to have a v3, just for the motor mounts.. And looks:)

Keep it up!!! And you and bean should keep posting tons of pictures.

Dude Custom Axis shocks are easy to get. Suspension place by my parents house sells them big time to Quad and Sled riders.

Sick build though. Hope the drilled and tapped mounts into the alum frame hold under load.

Not negative, realistic lol. Aluminum threads, bolts, and the shock load of landing from a big jump.

Call up www.hygearsuspension.com and ask for one. They will be more than glad to sell one to anyone who wants one, every Custom Axis shock is custom made to order.

And Elka makes shocks for sleds too...Doesn't make any of their pit bike shocks sled shocks so I fail to see your logic on that one haha.

FMEA is important. Even if it's not what you want to hear, and as much as you hate me id hate to see you post with a broken collar bone after your engine ripped out off a jump.

I would question that wall thickness of the frame where your threads are, vs. the 'designed for threads' thickness of the V3 frame at the mount location.
