so my 110 i bought recently has what im suspecting is a kx 60 wheel due to the sptocket size. it has the stock drum breaks but they suck. im looking to put a new wheel on the rear and was wondering if i should just go with a stock 110 wheel or if there was a better option...

I know that piranha sells a complete rear wheel (rim, tube, tire, sprocket, and disc) for around $120ish. You could go that route but you may need adapters so you can run the stock rear axle. Also, you'd need a complete rear brake setup with a brake caliper mount (some guy is selling them for $90 on eBay) and a kit with your rear brake master cylinder, line and caliper. So you would probably be spending close to $250-$300 depending on what route you go if you're dead set on disc brakes. Otherwise it's cheaper sticking with stock drum brakes.

Out of reeg, bbr, kx 65, and all drum rear brake setups, in my opinion Piranha works the best. Instant stop. That and kx65 is good too but I prefer piranha. On my klx 110 I run the piranha 12" rear and it works great. Its cheap (as stated above) and the rim comes in black and spokes are heavy duty already. Just my 2 cents, some people may think piranha is a little goofy but they make some good parts. Just dont overpay for their other stuff

Stock klx wheel is your best bet. The mounting brackets for any type of disc brake set up would have to be made or welded from scratch and it would be a pain to try and get it all to work together.

Far as rear ends go keep in mind in order to run an MX style swingarm you will need a shock relocation bracket - to piece the kit together would obviously be a bit cheaper but when piranha sold the ready to bolt on kit it retailed for $1199.

A member from Russia had a piranha kit for sale for CHEAP

GL but a stock wheel will get u riding - maybe try cleaning the pads or buying a new set - I know my stock mod will lock the rear brakes up with minimal pressure and Im still running drum brakes
