Well if anyone has been keeping tabs on the twin spark super head i have theres isnt much left to it......

This was after two heat cycles to let the new valves break in and a brand new 88 piston....

Keep in mind this was 3/4th throttle on decel off the rev (NOT WOT) thats why im extremely surprised this happend. (did all proper heat ups) etc.

Only thing i could find that could send my intake valve into the head like it did is the top retainer broke into two i heard a snap/shear and then loose change and marbles in a tin can shacking around. This is where my argument is, this be a faulty part? Could CHP be liable for such a thing? or is this a loosing battle as im the engine builder and its my fault, The ****ty part is i didnt even ride it. Might i note, Not only did i go over the head 3-4 times, but i had a professional check everything just to make sure everything was good and it was.

Anyone think its worth fixing?

Go and have the retainer checked for hardness. If it's over 50 rockwell, Id say it's a faulty part. It looks brittle (too hard) from the pic.
it does look kinda brittle. like it just snapped, its got the crystaly look inside like the metal wasnt made well or treated wrong maybe

Damn i haven't heard anything like that since shop class, any ways thats a great idea. Sorry about the engine man that sucks, i'd get pissed or cry maybe both.
