And since everyone loves to ask about front ends. Here's some pictures. I had the clamps bored, and made a lip on the bottom of the stock stem.

Made myself a little drum adapter in the garage too

 

I am really liking it so far, Looks great. I think some custom # plates would really set it off with your name on them and your race #.

Love the custom work mate. I've got 3 sets of Stratos forks and love them. IMO best forks ever made for the minis.

And what's the deal with those forks... I've never seen them before. What did they come off of? Are they better then Zocchi's? Or just JK?

Stratos forks? Never heard of them in the uk! What they like?

 

There are a bunch of old threads on them from back when they were in business.

They aren't as popular today because they went out of business back in like 2008, so they are harder to find now, and you can't find parts for them. (Well you can... But it takes some digging)

I really like them because of how light they are. It's unbelievable when you hold them. You think to yourself, "there can't be anything in these tubes"..lol

I'm 100% sure that they are lighter than the stock front end. Which is what I wanted.
6" clean travel.
And silver to look more like stock.

Having a little issue with the 6" of travel
The skid plate/pipe bottom out and the tire touches the fender.

 

Did you ever fix this issue? Curious if others are having the same problem or if its just this particular style of forks. The stock pipe does hang pretty low.

 

I pushed the forks down more. I had like an inch to go. So it's good for now.. Just sitting a little higher than I wanted. But it's good.

These forks have 6" travel and they are shorter than zokes. And zokes have 5.5" travel, so those guys are probably good.

 

Twake are those forks 630mm in length?

 

630mm have 6 inches the 730mm have 8 inches.
