Hey Guys and Girls

Back in September I bought a SSR125sr from Tbolt and have been making it street legal. Here in MN it was really easy to do through the DNR. After getting it plated through the DNR I actually found out I could take my MSO from Tbolt into the DMV and get a real title, so I did that too! :D

It has a headlight, tail light, horn, mirror and a couple other little bits but all in all was easy.

Now to point of my post:

I have been riding at Prokart (indoor Gokart track) and still have my knobbies on the bike and want to upgrade to some motard wheels.

I found a set like these but am wondering what its gonna take to make it work? 12" Complete Motard Wheel Set w/ rotor sprocket SSR SDG Thumpstar 107 110 125CC

Obviously I will need different sized axles (going from a 12mm to a 15mm) but don't know much else at this point.

Has anyone done this and have any experience that will help me out?

Thank you!

Jeff

I bought the supermoto wheel set a few months ago and they worked good. I put a lot of miles on them and eventually ended up running the rear tire to the cords and popped the tire. Ooops.

I replaced the stock 90-90-12 rear with a Shinko 110-90-12 rear and it was a big improvement over the stock tires. Much more stable in the corners and makes that nice screeching sound when you lock it up.

Now I am looking at replacing the 90-90-12 front. I don't think I want to try and squeeze a 110 front in there because of weight, but am thinking a 100-90-12 should work nicely. Off to go do some shopping.... :D

If anyone has some suggestions I am all ears. Seems like I have a lot of options to choose from.
