I bought the supermoto wheel set a few months ago and they worked good. I put a lot of miles on them and eventually ended up running the rear tire to the cords and popped the tire. Ooops.

I replaced the stock 90-90-12 rear with a Shinko 110-90-12 rear and it was a big improvement over the stock tires. Much more stable in the corners and makes that nice screeching sound when you lock it up.

Now I am looking at replacing the 90-90-12 front. I don't think I want to try and squeeze a 110 front in there because of weight, but am thinking a 100-90-12 should work nicely. Off to go do some shopping....


If anyone has some suggestions I am all ears. Seems like I have a lot of options to choose from.

I live in Minneapolis and just got KLX110L plated this spring. Let me know if you guys are ever riding around the cities.

 

We are actually riding ours out to dulonos pizza in Minneapolis tonight for "First thursdays". It goes on from about 5pm till dark. We will be getting there by about 630pm.


Its a real big bike night the first thursday of the month
