Shifter Sticking? 06 klx 110

Ok so I ripped down the entire motor to put the 4th gear drum in and TB 134 kit. It runs awesome now but when I shift down it kinda gets stuck if u hit the shift lever all the way down it dosn't come back up, I mean sometimes it works fine then other times it gets stuck and I have to click up a lil so it will be free. Anyone know what can I do to fix this I don't want to rip down the complete engine again?

i have the same problem too. sometimes my lever comes loose and then i have to tighten it back up. sometimes i have the same problem and the lever is not loose so i dont know. im still tryin to figure that one out too.

try tapping the end of the shift shaft with a hammer and a socket.but not to hard.do you have a hydro clutch on it as well.

No I have the Trail Bikes Cable Clutch.

i have the hydraulic clutch. that shouldn't have anything to do with it. should it?

yeah the thrust washer on the shift shaft has to be seated and thats why you tap it with a hammer. but if that dont help its something else then. and the tb clutch I dont know about that one.sorry
