Lame.

The scary part is the fork clamp blowing out like that. 8O

You can see that it is just crap cast metal. I bet if you smack the other side with a 32oz. ball peen a few times it would crack like that too.

(CNC'd aluminum won't do that, for those who don't know)

Stan, you sir are a one man vendetta against SDG.

If I paid that kind of coin for one and it ended up like that, I'd be pissed too.

EDIT: Aluminum CAN shear like that, but in this case and application, it would take a great amount of lateral force to make it blow out like that cast did. Forged (pure) metals and equal grade T6-_ are at their stongest at their point of failure.

The brake pedal also could be from berms or a whoop section. Happened on my 110, now I have to run a brake snake, works great too.

the bike was NOT abused, it was ridden. 150lbs isnt too much for the stupid bike, OR IS IT??

the track all this happened on the biggest jump kicks you MAYBE 3 feet up, hardly abuse. could of happened on any track, just as easy.

the brake got bent IN A RUT, no rocks, just soft dirt. he didnt even fall over!

you DONT want that motor, only way to start it is bumpstart.

I find it hard to believe he was just cruizin the track. I have cased some landings, and flatlanded my SDG pretty damn hard, and everything is holding together just fine. If Im not mistaken honda riders encounter the same problems. Got chopper?

Yeah, a stock 50 frame will bend but that's not the point.

People buy SDG's so they wont have to invest in a aftermarket frame or spend major flow on upgrades like you have to do with a 50.

the motor parts are not honda compadible, different stud spacing, different cases.

you dont gotta belive me, but for real thats what happened, for real.

ive seen stock hondas hold up better than this POS, too bad the warranty is ended.

maybe i can get them to replace it under a lemon law, or if i threaten to sue there lame company.

but i feel so bad for my buddy, this bike is toast, he wont be riding 50s for a LONG time. i doubt that he will ever be able to get the bike fixed enough to ride it. im pissed at sdg for selling this crap.

marketed as an easy way in, but its just a trap that left him high and dry with no bike to ride!

that is seriously, incredibly, focked up. sdg better make this right at no cost. ill keep everone updated on how i get treated.

stay away. FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR AWAY

thats my friends bike thats from some serious casing and over shooting on a stock frame plus the sdg is supposed to be strong and have a chromo frame i think.... thats a stock steel 50 frame

and yea youve over shot jumps but most frames dont bend from one jump it takes alot of wear and tear
