Yes. Pull it out and pop the new one back in.

Remove the collar & O-Ring and either use a spring hook or a small allen wrench to pry back behind the seal to pop it out. Be sure to clean the seal surface with solvent and reinstall the new seal. Tap/Hammer the seal in with a socket closest to the outside diameter of the seal. This should take ~ 10-15 minutes tops.

Do you know how far it should go in? Will it stop when its completely in?
