i run 30 psi with a rim lock

 

Thanks I didn't know how high I can go without a rim lock I m at 22 psi and Im gunna go riding in a little bit

Do you think I should put more in?

 

I tried from 15 to 45psi with out a rim lock and no luck. The tire would still spin on the rim. You should get a rim lock.

Its just a stocker but I still spin the tube

I run 20-25 psi in the rear. No rim lock and TB117 and I still haven't spun a tire.

 

i run like 25 and i've never spun a tube, no rim lock either. lifan 125cc

 

between 18-25psi..

 

I run 13-15 psi in the rear of my stocker and i have never had a problem with with the rim spining.

 

What rims and tires are you guys useing?I have a excel rim with a Kenda millville sticky on my klx172+R with 20PSI and havent had any real problems with spinning.On my 88cc fiddy I had problems all the time though.I had a cyclone rim on that.

 

i fill it up until its hard. i never had a rim lock when i had a stock motor. but i spun a tire when i put on my 143 so i put one on now. tire pressure dont even really matter with these bikes imo

TIRE PSI IS HUGE,makes even more of a diff on these bikes-specialy if the mtr's built..

i run 35psi without a rim lock on my stock 12 inch rear wheel & Lifan 140 BVH



ill try 25psi next time i go to the track... traction was horrible last time and now i know i need to drop it... valve stem didnt move all day...

 

Air pressure matters in everything. I had my front tire to high and it always wanted to push in the corners. Just had to drop it down a little now it is great.

 

i run between 10-13 PSI on my race bikes and my 50... any higher and you get no traction... try running 11 PSI at a track, and you'll love it...

yea i can see where it would matter but, i just playride and trail ride my bike most of the time

 

25 psi w/o a rim lock - but rim locks are cheap - get one they are well worth it

20 psi no rim lock havnt spun a 12in tire yet

I totally agree i run 14 psi with a rim lock -



and ruined at least two tubes before getting rim locks

 

The smallest rim lock I could find was a 1.6 and I can' t get the tire to seat fully with it in. Even at 75psi.

 

rim lock,11psi,moose heavy duty tubes,756 tires,143 kit....no problems



The heavy tubes add some weight BUT I HATE FLATS.My goal is to put on a new tube and tire and not take it off till the tire is worn out.

is your rim lock loose? you tighten it down after the tire is on the rim
