Whats the difference between a Race Head and a V2 race head other than the obvious(valves, ports, carb size). I'm trying to decide which kit to get, can you guys help me out. Is the V2 kit worth the extra money? Any info would be great. Thanks...

from what i hear the v2 is worth it.

the main difference is i believe the cam that works with the head. the rocker arms also have roller bearings on them which is a huge plus.

i run the race head, its definitely a noticeable gain but ill probly end up with the v2...

and i have the v2 165cc with the stroker crank and s35 decomp cam its a beast almost to radical so if your just rippin trails i would say go with the 143 it will last longer but if your doin the pitbike races like i do then go with the 165 scut kit you dont have to bore cases and its a monster i beat 85's out of the gate to the first turn just hard to keep the front end down. if your racing this is the setup i have and its workin damn good tb 165 kit with the v2 race head 28mm carb if you have the money get the decomp cam way easier to start, and if you really feel like gettin into it the 55mm crank, and then the bbr u flow filter and youll have a 20+ beast just make sure its the scut kit and youll be set i have about 9 hours on mine now and have no problems runs great revs like a 2 stroke and easily pulls up in wheelies in 3rd gear everyone that sees the thing go is amazed on how badass the bike runs. i wish i would have done all the motor work to the bike when it had stock suspension that would be funny as hell a little tiny bike beating up on 85's haha
