here is a pic of my project xr70 when i started to tear it down, the bike was in an accident, the forks were pushed back into the head of the motor, if that wasnt bad enough the bars were bent into a zig zag shape, wheels out of wack, two flat tires, busted bearings, missing plastics, no brake petal, rod, etc, rear and front hub mangled and more.....all and all i fixed it by using stock parts from my crf, i will post pictures of the bike when i get a chance, here is the tear down......

how do you like the risers that jog forward?[/QUOTE]

Hey Slow..

The clamps are pretty cool because they open up the cockpit a bit but they do feel kind of weird when you stand up on the bike. I guess it depends on the type of track/riding that you do...

Is that stock frame??>?\

I want to build a 70 and might do that same frame swinger/fork combo.

Thnaks in advance.

That is a stock frame. You can see the cromolly bracing I put in between the motor mounts going up under the tank. And its still very light, the cromolly weighs next to nothing

My 70

Here's my '06 CRF 70. Still a work in progress but getting there. I really like the Five 0 swinger with the Ohlins shock. Very well balanced with the zokes up front and gives it a big bike feel on the track. I just bought a new GPX motor yesterday and threw it in there so I could get some track time while deciding what to do for sure on the motor. I think I'm going to pick up the 140 kit and crower G2 cam to throw in the GPX for the hell of it. I will eventually build a true Honda motor but just can't decide what I want right now. This is a pic of it loaded in the truck ready to go break the motor in tonight at the indoor track. I also attached a pic of Brian's bike from Five 0. His is the one with the black swinger and I believe he's running a 117 in his. These things are a blast even on the big bike track. My KLX 110 just sits in the garage now.
