I am a fan on the Pitster, but to me the X4 looks like it has the same motor as the x2 and x2r but i am not sure.....and there is a section for the xr and crf 50 and the other knock offs are in their own section, so maybe we should start a section of its own? Just my thoughts.

^ I agree! If they consider pitster a china bike, then what about aftermarket parts.. Some of the aftermarket parts people are buying for their bikes arent even made in America. I think we should reconsider what a knockoff really is.

If its because the motor than thats kinda dumb. Im running a pitster roller with a HONDA motor and its not a knockoff.... Its a 50!

 

first we beat up the 50s with our x and x2

now were going to do the same to the 110s with the x4 !!

I like that idea. so how about it Z88r and Nick? I thnk we have enough bikes in the market, and enough users of this form to have our own section. I would like a Pitster / GPX section.

 

How can it be a 50 if its running a 124cc Jailing engine...



What I think would be a good Idea would be to have a Dhina built bike section and then break that down into particullar bikes.....

This would not be for who is making current bikes but about bikes that people own...And maybe have the currently produced bikes in a current China based bikes...Then Staggs...in a Non current china based bikes.....



That would break it down so everyone is happy.....I see Gary's point...What other bike looks like an X3????? nothing that I know of...So its a knowkoff of what? See my point...They are all knockoffs from the pit bike scene but not necessarily knockoffs of the crf 50 any more.......A true pit bike is a Ruttman or equivalent minibike... from back in the 60's

and this is whats wrong with america these days... everyone is getting mad becuase every damn thing doesnt suite them perfectly. The gov. goes and changes something then it offends someone else... How many dang years has the pledge of alegence been said in the school system? a whole shiot load... and they told everyone that they didnt have to say it! And some one complained and now they took that away from the schools. and look in my home town, We had a graduating class of almost 600 students and our graduation was to be held in a church becuase it is indoors and hold 1000's of people and there were no cross' lit up and nothing about religion showing. it was just a nice damn building... one athiest girl and some hindu fock said that it offended them and were going to take the school board to court. Well they took them to court and the court ruled with them... so now everyone has to graduate on the football field where ever year it rains on them.



Now I dont have a single thing against pitster... I actually like them. But look the forum heading is, like Z88R said "chinese/import", some people consider imported bikes as knock-offs... in a sence the motor is a knock-off of a honda design, not saying its bad, but it does resemble it. The chassis is pitsters own, so I dont know how any one could say its a knock-off?!!?! and yes it does use honda look a like plastics...

You virtually have your own section since all the other companies are going out of business and you are one of the last people standing.



When you reach OEM status and own your manufacturing facilities, we'll discuss. But I'm not going to get on the path of creating vendor specific forums for motovert, Thumpstar, Workz, trailbikes or any of the other suitors that want to advertise or advertise as they will want the same thing. I personally see no reason to change the way things are now.

 

The way I look at it you could actually put crf/xr questions in the china/import section. They are imports after all. You just don't see any American made pitbikes. I don't know why, but you don't.

I think if there was a knockoff section it should have the likes of those Roketa bikes and the ones that come from pep boys not the Pitster. Those are the true knockoffs/POS bikes.

But, I like all the sections the way they are now. Everybody just get along and quit whining. Don't turn this place into something we all don't want.

dude a knock off is a knock off china stuff.. the thing that makes a BBR 110 is that it actually started as a klx/drz 110. just like xr/crf 50s those are actual hondas thats why there called crfs and not pitster/ssr/thumpster. the x4r is still a knock off just because its the size of a 110 and looks like one doesnt mean its a 110.. everyone baggs on those cheesy 110 "knock offs" with 50 based motors. not saying the x4r is crap im just sayin its just like the others 110 copies with a 50 based motor.. in conlcusion i say its a knock offf

Just a thought, nothing against bbr etc.. But BBR also made a klx with honda mounts, what is it? All Im saying is the answers can go both ways.

you dont see alot of 70s but again its an actual honda. you dont see other companies complaining about having their own forum

exactly 110 BASED not a real 110 therefore it should be in the knockoff section.

 

We are going to create a Midsize Chinese/Import Minis forum, not vendor specific, and since these bikes are not KLX/DRZ's, there's no reason to post this content in the KLX/DRZ sections.
