the TB 28 it a PE28 copy with the right needle in it from the get go and i love it easy to tune and makes geat power. jseeint for stock 155z (for me ) has been 44 pilot 100 main needle in the middle. on a V2 155 it has been 50 pilot 120 main needle in the middle.

with the pwks if you dont have a good throttle spring they slide can float and letting can be a bit*h

I run the PWK28 on my Lifan 150. I use a JJG needle, a 107 main, and 42? pilot.

The fix for the throttle spring is to replace it with one from a stock KLX110 carb. I did and haven't had any problems with the throttle sticking.

The TB28 carb has issues. The coating on the slide flakes and causes it to get stuck in the bore.

Can anyone advise on the right jetting for a pwk28 on a YX150? I seem to have a problem on the bottom and it smooths out but still isn't what it should be. I have no idea what's in there now. One of the first things I'll do is replace the spring as recommended but that still leaves the jets???? Anybody????

like fastfreak said u need a 4stroke needle like jjj , jjh or jjg

well not to confuse anyone but they didnt have my engine together so i opted to throw down the extra cash for the 184 big bore kit .so now i have the 184 kit with a v2 ,billet clutch pitster decomp kit and a heat wrapped titanium fmf exhaust. so my new question is can the pe 28 handle all this and wat kind of jets should i expect to run ? elevation is around 2200 ft

Maybe I should have explained better. I did not get the carb new so I don't know what jets are in it. I can already see I really need a needle the one in there is scored. But getting a new needle and using the same jets might cause the same damage. There are no markings on the needles. I know the pilot is probably stock but the other isn't. I just want to change out both and be done with it.

I have a 184V2 headed YX and a PE28 on it. I live in NC 1,000 feet above sea level. Its 90 here and I have a 40 pilot needle in the middle or clip on 3 from top.. And i am using between a 120 and a 125 main.. This will get you REAL close to what you need...

thanks dude i guess all i need is my motor now!! how much of a difference did u notice from the motor being stock til now ?
