I seen a pic. of the '08 model and it's looks exactly the same as a honda 50 . It's gonna be a yellow and blue , model and an all black model .

Alot of "what if's" ran through my head . What if honda follows ? Will there be another extra model made from honda to compete ? The crf70(small) ?

I was just wondering what everyone thought about this new mini drz70 and it's counter against the 'ol honda fiddy .

My opinion? I want one! I have a Suzuki quad and have always been a Suzuki fan so I've been waiting for a Suzuki pit bike! They only made the DR-Z 110s for a couple years and I didn't get one. Plus, they really were just Kawis and I'm not a Kawi fan at all.

If you take a close look at the DR-Z and compare it to the CRF it looks like a lot of the main parts will be interchangeable. If this is the case it was a very smart move on Suzuki's part because this gives them a huge aftermarket to start with. The lack of aftermarket support is the main reason why TT-Rs aren't more popular IMO.

I just have to decide if I want yellow or black. From what I've seen, the black Suzuki plastics just don't look that good in person. They might look better on the little DR-Z. I stopped at two dealerships looking for DR-Zs and nobody has them yet. The one dealer told me they wouldn't get them until October. What are you guys hearing about when dealers are getting them?

On Suzuki's website it says the forks are oil damped. This doesn't look to be the case, but it's hard to tell from the few pics available.

Just bought one for my 8 year old's Christmas delight. This little thing is awesome. It pulls me pretty hard, and I am 5'10" 180lbs. When he out grows out of it, I am going to do sick things to this little beasty. Definitely recommend this bike to anyone in the market for CRF, or TTR 50. Almost everyhthing that will bolt on to the CRF will bolt on to the DRZ. I can't wait to see his face Christmas morning.
