I was looking on thumper talk and people were talking about how there were like no 150s at their dealers and some kid came up and said that the 150s that are out already are the only ones going out...

Is that true?

knowing honda I would say no. you just have to give a few months for the market (supply and demand) to even out. There are expert 150rs on showroom floors you just have to find them. I would guess there is going to be a discount at the end of the year on the small wheel model. And 08 is when yamaha is releasing their 150. So that should be interesting.

I worked for yamaha in the late 80's.When the YSR came out in 87 each dearler got just a hand full they all sold out.In 88 they made 1000's if you wanted one you could get it.And in 87 they were going way over sticker and in 88 they were at sticker. In 87 I bought one sold it back to the dealer so he could make even more money. Then in 88 got one at cost.

Yamaha in the past has done second runs on bikes - but I don't think Honda has ever done that for a motocross/off-road bike. Their attitude (and a good one for the dealers) is this is how many bikes we made - sell them. They'd prefer not to have left over stock in the warehouses, and make the bikes they have that much more desireable and easy to sell. MP
