Shame...........well from my point of view minis are fading out here in SoCal. Only die hards left.
the price of gas is climbing every day , the ecomy is weaking again everyday .

i just put 5 gal in a can cost me $19.75 , in a couple hours i'll fill my truck and toy hauler tank for another $150.00 or so where will it end???.

lots of high dollar minis getting parted out for penny's on the dollar on here and fifty riders it's a shame

ok so here is the story....

The owners of the fair grounds decided that they didn't need the promoters for the DelMar race. They figured they could draw a crowd because the state fair was happening at the same time and that they could hold their own race.

Much to their enthusiasm of running a pseudo DelMar race, the owners of the fairgrounds found that it takes much more than that to run a race.

M4SX did an awesome job of promoting the race as well as running the entire event (except for the band and stage thing in the middle of the track in my opinion )

Hopefully there will be enough calls to make this race happen again because I always have a great time and meet great people at that event.

We raced the 2004 and 2005 race. If this does not happen I fear it is a major step backwards and another nail in the coffin in the future of pitbike racing?

The supermoto pitbike thing went off in 2006 and now is totally dead in SoCal.

I think most would say this is the second biggest race of the year?

As far as the stage in the middle of the track, uugh..................

It seems like Podium was all about Pitbikes until the last year. The Mesquite race last year was pretty cool and that did not happen this year. Seems like alot of people went back to big bikes for a while, but the die hards are still here and we can not afford to lose any of our big events. Lets get organized, push our promotors to get some events, otherwise we will just be banging bars with the same people we ride with every week.

the turnouts were very small and she started getting a bigger crowed in big bikes and rhino's and quad to thropy cart.thats why she is doing limited amounts.i raced all of here big bike race's and know her good.i was the one that got her really tied in with milestone, cuz the owner kim and I would talk about the track and how to get it bigger and I told him to contact podium and they did.
