we getting in some 57mm bbks for honda (69mm tall) and xtreme (78mm tall)



this will be the xtreme 146cc kit alot of guys have been wanting

when mated to the pro stock close ratio trans and ported tb race head look out



on the crf50/70 with tb 51mm crank =130cc



case boring may be required

what is the biggest cylinder bore you could go on a crf 50 case im running a 54mm tb cylinder i was thinking of boring it out, is that possible? If so how big or do i need to resleave it? or go with a diffrent cylinder?

 

You MIGHT be able to hit 55mm with it, beyond that you're in re-sleeving territory.

 

Ok if i re sleeve it what size bore then? the max u could take that cylinder?

 

I've seen 59mm cylinders for sale for Honda stud spacing at UK shops... nothing bigger yet.

you will need a different cylinder



were doing this in 57mm to keep stock of pistons down

this way all 49.5 and 57mm w/ 13mm cranks will take one piston and we will stock these pistons ,cylinders and gaskets



we will also be getting some shorter honda type pistons in 57mm

to set up the 57mm kit for honda 50/70 we need to get special pistons

so

its going to be a little more and we will let you know when its ready

i can take an email order now but it will take a few weeks to get to you

 

the link doesn't show for the honda motor. I would also like to know what size the reliefs are in the piston for the intake and exhaust if you know. I

Hah. Can I interest you in a turbo setup? For a mere $10k more I can guarantee it'll at least spool up in the end.

please just wait till you get your kit and you will be cool

 

You definately will need to bore the cases and its not a straight up bore...it is an offset bore..just did an engine for me motard bike......The only problem I am having is a piston for the +R big valves..already burned through some pistons trying to clearance them....leve and learn...I also have a 56mm stroker crank.....thats where the clearance issue comes in.......
