i got this ssr and rode it about 10 minutes, i sent the motor back and they said it was fine, i put it back on and it is still doing the same thing!!! here is a vid of what it sounds like. Please help!!!! The guys at ssr dont seem to have a clue on whats going on. the video may not be live yet.

the bike sounds like its running to leen ! put your needle clip in middle position and go bigger on your main jet

What did you do when you first got it? Did you swap out the oil? Check the valve clearance? Have you messed with the carb at all?

i changed the oil and thats it.

sounds intermittent like the ground is not keeping inplace......if you have not already.. did it..scrape the paint from frame at the main ground and try that....check the complete harness for any knicks.....

If all that checks out good...Then I would start messing with the carb.

i agree its too lean but what gets me is that it ran fine for about a half hour then popped and now this

Lean usually idles high not sputters and pops like his sounds...sounds electrical to me.. bad wiring or stator.





Popped?..did you check the woodruff key maybe it sheared and its out a time.

doesnt sound lean... more like electrical. check your grounds and all wiring connections. check stator or loose flywheel.
