Here is my new front wheel setup for my Pitster K-LXR!!!!!!

It is a kx65 rad hub laced with oversized aluminum nipples and excel rim.

The setup is MUCH lighter than the stock pitster setup.... looks a little flossy too!

PIMP!! Front only? You have to build a matching rear!

i have klx zokes and clamps on the front with kx65 brakes so this front wheel bolted right up.... so i guess front only for now.........

I am trying to figure out an application for the rear: kx65????? ktm 65??????? something else?????

working on making something work... I heard that people keep snapping the ktm 65 ones .......

and I heard that the kx 65 ones are to wide?? but I dont have one to check it out............

I would like to put a matching rad kx 65 hub on the back with kx 65 brakes but... I dont know if it will work and thats a lot of money to spend without knowing.................

The ktm ones are awsome! The kx rears don't fit!

Hmmm.........Didn't someone already tell you KTM 65 hubs were the way to go? ;)

I bet you can even get a set of wheel bearings with a 15mm ID so you wouldn't have to mess with different axles or reducers. All you got to do is make up some custom wheel spacers or mod some old ones and your done!

wish it was that easy... but in my de-Pitsterizationing of my K-LXR I would like to get rid of the pitster brakes as well... so this makes it a little trickier....

I am going to look into it I actually have a extra 65 hub and brakes just laying around (random)...... any clue who can make me spacers??

just get some piping and cut it after you see how big you need them, the 65 rear caliper slides onto the lxrs guide too.

what year brakes?? mine are the older style off of the on 2002 or 2003.. before the smaller ones came out in 2004...

I don't know if they have different caliper slides or not but I do know the 04 and newer are a lot smaller.
