I ah "borrowed" the wife's camera and took some better pics of the bike. I put on 1001 km's in the couple months it was registered this season, which I was trying pretty hard to reach. Our first child is due next Monday (sept. 20th) so I took the bike off the road for the year as of today, probably wont have much time ride until next year... Between diaper changes I'll be slapping in a 117cc at the very least but hopefully some takegawa goodies too. Just have to figure out a way to disguise motorcycle parts as baby toys...

Man that came out killer. I really like the stance of the bike.

Well done sir.
Thanks Brad! It took a lot of measuring and a few "educated guesses" to get everything to line up, function and look the way I wanted. Now that I have it on the road and got a few miles on the odometer I'll be adding a few higher end parts in the future.

That FrankenZ you're building is going to be pretty sweet though, I've been following the thread and can't wait to see the final product.

Do you recall what size rotors you are running, and do you think you could go bigger? the front one appears to not entirely fill the caliper but i could be mistaken. I have a set of forks just like yours (same bolt orientation) and I felt a little peeved that the only thing that bolts right on is a single piston rear brake caliper (at least thats what they sell them as) and I havent figured out what size rotor it needs yet.

The rotors are 190mm's and yes the front caliper is grabbing just the edge of the rotor, which is odd because the other wheels and rotors I was using seemed to work out perfect. During the winter I'm going to try to get a radial nissin master to work with a dual piston caliper up front. Not sure what caliper is going to work yet, but I have about 6-7 months to figure it out...
