I am used to mx bars from racing full size bikes... and am gonna get a bar kit this week....What are the advantages/disadvantages of both?....just preference?

bmx bars: taller, more narrow, more twitchy feel
mx bars: little lower, wider, more control of the front end
mostly preferences, if you come from big bikes like me then you cant go wrong with mx, but its all ur decision

yea i had the bbr mount and bmx bars... i liked htem alooot... until i rode the sik50 mx style kit... i loved it.. i felt like i had much more control.. but its personal preference
My neighbor has the applied clamps with msr bars and I always hit my knee's etc. maybe mx bar clamps will be find with some minplays... idk.
mx is the only way to go, unless your like over 6' tall and you need the clearance just to be able to ride a 50.
riding fast and staying stable at those speeds are alot harder with a tall and narrow bar. to me it feels like the wheel is just too small and too far away to be controllable.

to me bmx bars feel more comfortable. they are narrower, but its really not that twitchy. mx bars are too low in my opinion.
get P3 bars they are prolly the best bars on the market not only the strongest but the best bang for the buck.
