Decided to make my Piranha street legal in the off season of racing.
Will be on the docket in October to get a title for the Piranha after presenting proof of ownership with a VIN#.
Ordering my headlight kit, brake pressure switches, tail light with signals, and a speedometer from Motostrano.
Will update the further along I get.

Not sure on the mount for the speedometer yet. Might buy a premade or go with a custom bracket we would make.
Hoping the brake pressure sensor works the way I plan as well.
A few things could change but overall these are the parts I am going to need.

Finally got all things ordered minus the Vapor
That will be the last item ordered
Waiting on brake sensors as they are from over seas
Once all in I can wire it up and test all things
Set the date for judge to issue street legal title and wahooooo I hope

On my SSR the stock brake line (same as most china?) didn't have a banjo for the pressure switch, but they really need a SS brake line anyway (and better pads).

I did use one of those brake pressure switches on my CB400F and it works great.

Anywhere I want
Would like to take it to work in the summer time
Just want to ride anywhere and not worry about any issues of tickets etc
Tempted to lace up the stock hubs with 12in hoops so I can put a different set of street tires on instead of the TT93's

Hoping once I get it done....my buddy follow suits as well with his

Wahooooooo brake sensors arrive tomorrow probably
Set the date for the judge next year
Bike should be up and running functionally before hand so once I get a title....I can ride on public roads legally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Judge issued the order for a clean green title today
Just need to run to tax commission tomorrow to submit the application and the Piranha P160R will be street legal soon
Tag title and insure
Finish up the mounting and wiring and Im off legally on the public roads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOO

illegally on the roads adds a bit more to the thrill factor!

not getting the tickets is more fun... although you still get tickets for wheelies and hooliganism regardless of the plates

My ct70 with the big motor is a wheelie monster but cops just give me a wtf look when I drive past on the back tire

#14 ·
Tax Commission is running a check on the VIN to make sure all things are on the up and up
Hopefully hear from them tomorrow
Then I get some paper work for the tag agency
Once done with that back to Tax Commission to finally get a street title

Not the greatest pics but snapped a few quick ones
Plan on wiring it all up tomorrow...fingers crossed

Holy Fack
Wiring straight sucks
We got it all figured out finally though
I just need to finish up wiring in the horn and the brake signal switches
Had to go pick a 4 pin relay to finish that part
All the lights do work
Vapor powers up with constant 12v when fired up
Got to figure out to mount the magnet for the speed pick up though
My caliper bolts are larger than the one supplied.....

Go to harbor freight and buy a 4 pack of rare earth magnets then just rtv one in place. It is what I did when I ran an acewell speedo on my fightered gsxr

Holy crappers
Wiring wasnt what I thought it was
Had to go back through and re think everything
Had to use the relay for the hi beam lo beam set up
Figured out the horn
Figured out the brake pressure switches and yes they do work so not a bad investment LOL
Turn signals work in front
Rears just light up...will tackle that later
Going in on Monday for final inspection.....fingers crossed I get the plate that day!!!

All things are for sale for the right number
Hit me up anytime you wanna check it out
I plan on racing and riding it when possible
