Honda Chaly 1982
Found this one in Holland a few monds ago, I was looking for those hubs and wheels for about 2 years. So that's the only reason I bought this one.
I saw that the body was a good base to start a project, so I did.

New Daytona 3.5" and 4.5" wide rims
I also bought G'craft hubs and some discbrakes for it (front and rear).

Soon an update of the chaly.

Hi all!

I bought new tyres for the chaly. Full slicks in 90/90x10inch, perfect to create a cleaned look I think.
The tyres are stretched on 3.5" and 4.5" full daytona rims. I also mounted a G'craft front and rear hub with 160mm Opus discs.

Another update!

I bought myself a little gift to myself for my 19th birthday. A takegawa LCD temperature gauge.

also a friend (fiftyrider) welded the original airbreather cover on the frame, it's not done yet.

Yup,

Didn't do that much upgrades on the chaly, yet. I just bought yuminashi handle bars for it.
I also found a very cheap honda dax (AB23 frame and a lot of euro 6v parts). Deadline is 2weeks, hopefully I can use it on the daxmeeting of the daxclub at Visé (Belgium) in 2 weeks.
It's never been cleaned and the ignition points broke, so I have to order new ones...

What size die is that for the threads on chaly forks? I want to lower the front end on my ct build and desperately need the correct die to do so.

 

The die I have is M34X1

 

lookin at that chally...i cant help but thing moulded in rear fender would be VERY trick and help the rest of teh bike flow like its allready doing

So I sold my dax (st50). I had a lot of ideas for it in mind, but it was better for my wallet to sell it again.
So at the end, I bought 280mm kitaco shocks and lowered the front.
these are the plans that I HAD in mind;
- G'craft rims, 4" front and 6.5" at the rear (5.5" rim + spacer) with stretched tyres
- A lot lower
- GB4 based engine
- ...

Do you have a link for the Yuminashi handle bars?

 

Bought them from another guy who sold his project in parts. Here in Belgium are one or two shops who have a set of these I think..
