...here is the Service Manual for the KX65A7, and other manuals for CRF and KTM's on my shared site: www.mediafire.com/?jx017vz60x4e3

*Beware* on the KX60/65, that you use the *perfect!* amount of yamabond on each of the two center-case halves, else the excess WILL ooze inwards, and get subsequently get scooped up by your rod's lower-end, effectively plugging up the rod's oiling slot...yes.
Jet it correctly on ALL jetting circuits, not just for the main, and run 24/28:1 with a full-ester synth; on these tiny screamers I still liked Castor927. I ran jetting spot on on the needle and a hair rich on pilot and main, where the most abuse is with WFO and chopping the throttle at the end of a practice holeshot/high rpm as kids are so prone to do. We had excellent results with ours as long as we had it, but followed all of the "KX65 Rules"...
Namura pistons will save you a bundle and worked well for us, even in a bore that was badly damaged.
Care must also be taken with regards to installing the crank seals, not too far in but far enough to clear the oiling-ports drilled into the center-cases for the crank main bearings to get lube. One side is more of a pain b/c it has to be installed prior to case assembly, but u will have to look that up, I have forgotten that tidbit since...
Reroute the clutch cable and you can work it with your pinky.
Fun little bikes for kids on a track, and pretty easy to work on, just absolutely NO friggin' torque there...which prevents Dad from getting to abuse it once in awhile. LoL
MC Superstore "did/does" have plastics for this thing for $2 a fender, $5 set of shrouds, unless they have sold out recently...
