KLX Bottom Steering Tube Race Removal Help

I just bought All Balls steering bearings and wanted to prep the bike for the install and can't seem to find a way to remove the inside race located at the bottom of the steering tube. It's the race the that the bottom roller bearing rode on. The inside diameter of the race is about 42mm and I don't have a puller that will do this size. I can't use a punch because the inside bottom of the steering tube is flared slightly. What can I do? Can the All Balls bottom bearing use the stock bottom race? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I used my dremel and split the race and managed to get it out. I nicked the inside of the steering tube but not enough to mess anything up. Unless they make a 42mm bearing puller, I'm not sure of anyother way to get this race out. If it had a lip that was exposed inside the steering up, then you could use a normal race remover to tap it out. What do others think? You guys that put in All Balls bearings, how did you remove the bottom inside race? Or did you use it with the All Balls bearings?

When I did my first install of the tapered bearings years ago, the stock race SUCKED to get out, but IIRC I just used a big screw driver. Then when I replaced those bearings with new ones, the bottom race was broken, and came out easy :)

The problem is that my 2013 KLX110L had a tapered bearing on the bottom of the triple and the inside bottom steering tube race diameter is larger than the actual steering tube diameter...so there was nothing exposed on the race to be able to tap it out. I'm not sure if this is a new thing that Kawasaki is doing with the bottom bearing being a tapered one.
What type of bottom triple bearing is on other years????

HA...the bottom race that came with All Balls Bearings Set is the same as the OEM one I pulled out...go figure. I intially had a problem with the install...I didn't have the bottom race all the way up inside the steering tube. My press only went flush with outside diameter of the steering tube, stopping short. So I used the old race I cut out and pressed that into the new one and all is well.
Another issue I have with the All Balls is that the upper race is not flush with the top of the steering tube. I reset it twice and it's all the way in the steering tube. So this causes the dust cover to be slightly higher than it should be...I don't think this will cause any issues but just doesn't seem right. Anyway, I'm finishing the suspension project tomorrow with BBR heavy duty springs, new 20wt shock oil, TBR complete triple, and the Fox Float in the rear. Can't wait to try it out...
