Elaborate what you mean when you say "stock carb has pretty much had it"

Also, i'm sure you would need to properly jet a 22mm carb, as well as run a pancake filter.

 

I know quite a few people run a 26mm carb so it breathes really good. All you have to do is jet it and then you're good to go. Also you don't have to buy a bigger carb if at some point later down the road you decide you want to mod the motor.

Plus you see 26mm carbs popping up for sale left and right in the classifieds

 

Well the float and float valve are shot. The rubber tip is stuck up in the carb. Was going to try and find rebuild kit but I have only found 1 and it doesnt come with a float. I found a 22mm and 26 mm carb on ebay cheaper then then the rebuild kit. Some of the carbs are.”off brand” im guessing cause it doesnt say what brand. I was just wondering if a bigger carb would fit on a stock intake. The whole bike is stock.

 

26mm mikuni works good if you jet it correctly. May loose a little bottom end.

 

I doubt a bigger carb will fit on a stock intake. Find someone with a 26mm and an intake from here. Being a n00b the first thing you should learn is stay away from ebay

 

There is nothing wrong with eBay...and just find a 22mm mikuni carb it will help slot that stock

 

I get a lot of of my stuff off eBay and I've never had any problems at all

 

I have a stock keihin 22mm carb off my klx 110. It has the choke cable and everything. It will need to be cleaned. It's sitting in my garage. I swapped it out with a mikuni.

 

I have a stock carb as well 40 bucks shipped

 

I found a mikuni carb on Ebay supposed to be brand new around 40 bucks. Its doesnt have a cable choke. Im not sure about it though cause its like,40 bucks and its a mikuni caeb.

 

It's a knock off one.

 

I paid $50 for my mikuni brand new. But I got mine local.

 

Yea 40 shipped if u would buy a really mikuni carb there about 80-100 new for the real ones

 

why does everyone say you loose bottom end from a bigger carb?
