its to start it in gear. cut the wire at the end were in goes in on the frame and youll be good to go!!

 

Do you mean so you cannot start it in gear, then if you do cut it you can start it in gear? Just looking to get a diffrent clutch lever on my sons bike and want to make sure.

The wires are for the clutch switch. The clutch switch completes the circuit for the starter button. This way you cant use the eletric start, without the lever being pulled. This is simply a safety feature.

 

Ah OK I don't think I wanna go that route, my son is liking the e-start right now cause it's something diffrent so I guess were stuck with the stock perch.

 

So if you get rid of stock perch, you can still use the electric start...you just don't have to have the clutch held it???

 

all it did to by buddies is make have to put it in neutral to start it
