So a couple of weeks ago I took a fall on my CRF110 and ended up being the shift shaft. I ended up replacing the shaft with a new one and thought everything would be fine. I put everything back together according to the service manual and came to find that there is no neutral between the gears and it is very hard to downshift when moving. For example, from neutral to first, the bike will give a slight jerk like it's already in gear before I release the shift lever from the up position.
The things I tried were:
1. Adjust the clutch screw on the clutch case
2. Inspect the internals for anything that would be obviously broken
3. Remove the clutch cover and attempt to shift with my hand while spinning the wheel to see if anything is obviously messed up
When I removed the cover, spun the wheel to see if it would downshift properly, it ended up doing the same thing. To me, the main issue seems to be the fact that there are no neutrals between the gears. This ends up making it impossible to downshift at speed and even hard to shift up most times and it's driving me insane. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it
