make sure every bolt is out , then tap it with a rubber/nylon mallet

got the cover off and the sprocket attached to the clutch basket is missing a tooth. So, can anyone help me with getting the flywheel off? i have a puller but i dont think it would work. ill get pics tonight but it looks like ill need a new basket (or sprocket if it comes off), so does anyone have one cheap?

 

ok, stupid me didnt take off the plate in front of the flywheel so thats off. now i need to find the sockets that can take off each of the funny lookin bolts on the flywheel and the clutch basket. also, how do you guys keep the motor from spinning when trying to loosen the bolts. thanks

you use an impact wrench

 

thanks man, i dont suppose i could just find the gear on the basket could i? the basket is just fine but for some unknown reason these motors break teeth off the gear.

how would i torque it back on? and would you be able to share what torque i should use when i do?

stuff breaks , the basket is riveted to the gear so its a job to switch out
