i look at it this way, id much rather spend a good amount of money on quality parts that will last me a long time rather than go cheap and have to replace the part over and over again because it keeps breaking...im 21, live wtih my girlfriend, no help from mommy and daddy, and work part-time however i still find a way to get the quality parts that i want. not bashing anybody just saying if you want something bad enough you can make it happen. sorry for the thread jack klxkiller

If you only ride your bike around the neighborhood for fun once in a while, then you aren't gonna drop big bucks. And that is the reality for a majority of these "toy" bikes. Most sane people would move up to a bigger bike than spend thousands upgrading these haha! Too bad for them, they just don't know...

Go for it man! Just make sure to do a good job so nobody can give you shit about it.

There mm12p production bike frame was made across seas there v2 and v3 frames are made in house at bbr also the supercomp swingers are made in house there are actually losing money still by selling the swingers at like $1400 bit for the whole cost that y'all are talking about it goes like this YOU PAY TO PLAY

To a point, the BBR dampening rods are made in Taiwan, says right on the package. I know for sure their frame kits and swingers were made in the US (Are they making either anymore at all?). Of course we can make the best stuff in the world, but at what price?
I talked to some guys at mx-performance who are good friends with BBR, he said BBR does not make a-lot of there products anymore, but he siad they make them every once in awhile (so watch there site). It's said that these china companies slowed down the business of BBR...

its a cheap way to get a dual exhaust on your pitbike that you aren't riding everyday and dont race or anything. Its not like you're putting crap parts in your daily commuter or something like that. It's a toy and its not like you're putting a cheap plastic pipe on there, its metal if you mount it right and it lines up it will last. Or you could spend more money on an exhaust than it would cost to buy a whole used 110. If you're trying to scrape a .5 horsepower gain then try loosing some weight instead because that'll make more of a difference on riding pitbikes. Not to mention its all about the rider anyway, there's guys who ride stock bikes that would blow away a kid on a fully build BBR bike.

If your happy with the set up, then cool. I for one, would not pay 900.00 for a exhaust....I can put a new exhaust on my van for less then that, lol. I've also hand build stainless dual exhaust, cost for parts was $98.00, took me 3 hours total....my pay was $12.00 per hour. Add that up, then double it, and there's what a stainless exhaust should cost to buy.

To the OP, as soon as the CRF110 plastics are avalible I will be doing the same thing. My plan is to purchase a ebay dual system like yours and fit it with dual yosh cans to match the factory 450. Aint nothing wrong with saving a few bucks and fabbing up a sweet ass, one off exhaust system. I've read that if you look hard enough, you can find the china cans that are the same diameter as the pro circuit cans, meaning you can buy PC tips and graphics kits to go on them and NOBODY will be able to tell your $200 custom china exhaust from a store bought $7806234672376298346525345 dual PC system lol. Just an idea... Roll with it bro, Ill be watching your progress!

And let me add this about pit bikes industry taking a big hit.

The BIG factor that isn't being said is the economy fell out. So the FIRST thing to go out the door is $15k pit bikes. Not because China offered cheap parts. BBR wants $3500 for a frame, because they need to. They pay their employees more then 10 cents an hour like china.

So let's do simple math...

People have money and Americans LOVE bling. BBR has bling to sell for a premium price.

Then...

people don't have money, but we still LOVE bling. BBR has bling to sell for a premium price.
China has pretty close to that bling... For 75% LESS money!!!!

China is smart. VERY SMART. They knew WHEN to show up with cheap parts. That timing was no accident.

Now, it is suspect how China came up with the design of these parts. I don't condone stealing ideas AT ALL. But if need parts, LIKE A EXHAUST pipe. China one is $175 and a Yoshi is $400.... Imma get the knock off ! I wanna ride!

The point is to keep it quiet. Big bores and strokers add "bang". More bang the more people with no passion in life call the police about noise, and shut your riding area down. So I'd run 4 pipes if I had to. Getting your track shut down is like getting robbed.
