hey im about to buy a new gpx with a 131 kit in it. i was just wondering how much a difference the 131 kit makes over the stock gpx.

Stock will be about 8hp. 131cc w/ no other mods was good for 9.3hp for me.

I used the dratv kit though. Yours will probably be from Tbolt. Kind of hard to kick though and had to mix in some 100 octane w/ my 93. Quick revving motor though. Pulled really hard up to about 8-9k rpm then drops right off.

Running a bit rich on the dyno. I added a Ultima pipe later on and got 9.6hp.

A couple friends of mine dynoed a Pitster x2R and an RCM. Both in stock form and the Pitster camein at 6.8 and the RCM came in at 7.4.

Both of those had the gpx in them? Were they jetted correctly?

No only the Pitster has the GPX, the RCM has the stock Lifan. They were both running really well so I guess they were jetted right. They aren't my bikes so I can't say for sure.

solid post, states some facts and then has proof to back up it. need more stuff like this instead of people just pulling numbers outta thing air.

Mine runs pretty hot after a moto may have to look into an oil cooler. As Mello said hard to kick over so kick start gears may be stressed out over time just get it to TDC then kick.
