hi,

im fairly new to this pitbike scene and i was wondering if these demon x pitbikes were any good as they seem very cheap. my brother got a 125cc Chinese pitbike wich was a real pos and broke nearly every time he took it out and i was wondering if these demons are any different. so far most of the reviews i have seen on them seem to be pretty positive but i thought id ask you guys before i made a move and bought one.also one other query i have is are the parts readily available as i live in the republic of Ireland and there aren't many bike shops around.

thanks

Toby

I've never heard of them but their probably just as bad as all other china bikes. Get a pitster pro, you can find a use one at a good price if money is an issue and you will never have a problem finding parts.

You are aware that Pitster Pro is a china bike right? I've raced/ridden a ton of different China bikes for about 5 years now.... and Ive learned its on how well the user can build/maintain the bike. If your gonna take it out of the box and ride it hard and put it up wet......your sure to have a problem eventually.(which you would on ANY bike) BUT...if you lock tight everything, and go over it after each ride....it will last nearly forever....no matter the Brand/label that is stuck on it. Just my .02

yeah i suppose im not really going to be thrashing it much anyway because il only be allowed to ride it around the garden and in a few small fields anyway and il probrably take care of it too so i think i might still go with the demon  as there seems to be quite a large selection of parts on ebay for them

Yeah, these days you can find parts for pretty much anything via the forum or ebay. Just take care of it bro. When you first get it, go over everything wth the lock tight. Keep your air filter clean, change the oil pretty regularly and you'll be just fine ;)

so you think that a used pitster is better than a new demon and if so are there any places on the internet that i could find a good used one at a reasonable price and aren there any things that i should look out for. also i have found a few stomp mini bikes on the internet are these any better than demons and as good as pitster pro's as they seem alot cheaper than them
