Hi guys and girls.

I have a daytona 190 in my road "legal" monkey bike.
It runs great, but like everyone else, I'm always looking for more power!
Are there any aftermarket cams, big bore kits, etc. that will give me even more power than I'm currently at?

Info on my setup:
Daytona 190
Oko pwk28 - stock with 110 main jet
Ooracing SS3. Gen. Kit. (100W - 530 gram flywheel)
NHRC exhaust (with db-killer/silencer - to prevent my ears from bleeding).

Thanks! :)

Great build you have there. I'm wondering if you could use more torque (so it builds revs faster) or more top RPM (so it achieves a higher velocity in each gear)? Going bigger than that 28mm carb might ruin the low end performance. Adding an air intake snorkel to define the airflow into the carburetor can sometimes induce wildly improved mixture flow and turbulence near the intake valve stem. That 110 jet may be okay, might be kind of lean. What kind of color do you see after you run it out and take a spark plug reading?

Have you adjusted the pipe/silencer overall length? Shorter builds more revs, longer builds more torque.

That 530 gram flywheel is light enough to spool up quickly, and 100 Watts is great for street riding. A touch more total ignition advance can gain you a little power if its not preigniting.

What kind of compression is it running? A slightly thinner head gasket will raise compression a little.

Have you indexed the spark plug? That can improve flame spread a little bit.

Cutting Singh grooves in the combustion chamber is certainly an inexpensive improvement, and it really wakes up some engines.

This was the first time I heard about Singh grooves! Looked a bit into it, and it looked interesting! :)

I will make a spark plug reading and indexing the next time I go for a ride. 125 jet was recommended for my setup, but my bike was running way too rich with that. So I went down to 120, and now down to 110. Maybe I have to go so low because of my restricted exhaust...?

Lots of cool things that can be done. Not cheap though....
