alright im deciding over the 150r or 85 what do you think i should get im gona go to tracks alot?? thanks
Huh???If you were refering to rompking when he said "work" I think he meant to ride the bike...Two strokes are easy tow ride but definately keeps skilled riders sharp and on their toes. People tend to get lazy when they ride 4strokes and slowly seatbounce every jump...But between these two bikes, theres such little difference that it all comes down to the rider.carmstrong137 said:how much work does the 85 take what do i have to do how many hours?
thats such a lie!!!carmstrong137 said:haha Im getting different answers I know 4stroke are more reliable but I'm hearing the 150 needs the valves re shimmed every 8-12 hours but I don't have too much money to spend on the valves is it easy to do by yourslef or how much is it
well i went without that for a yearcarmstrong137 said:ow long do you think it is until you do have to re shim the valves
4-strokes are more reliable???? BS man. Trust me. I've had my 125 for about a year and a half now and not a single problem since I bought it. I havent touched the top end yet...All I do is change the spark pulg and tranny oil at a regular basis and put the recommended premix and Its been running in tip top shape for a good while now. The 150R on the other hand, I've had to shim the valves twice durring these past three months I've owned it. The only reliable 4stroke out there are those honda crf/xr trail bikes. No MX four stroke is a walk on the park when it comes to maintainence. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE the power that 4strokes let out its just a PAIN IN THE ASS to maintain.carmstrong137 said:haha Im getting different answers I know 4stroke are more reliable but I'm hearing the 150 needs the valves re shimmed every 8-12 hours but I don't have too much money to spend on the valves is it easy to do by yourslef or how much is it
