You will need a lightning coil to run the lights on the ZB and I doubt the new crf110 motor will have one. :dunno:

The crf110 has electric start, so it has to have a battery and some form of stator / charging system, probably not that powerful though.

What did Honda quote u for on the crf110 engine? U going to get other parts too like an carb,harness cdi?

it should its the replacement for the honda crf 70

 

motor mounts look to be different the frame is much different to the 70 frame
the 110 is a new bike not just revamp, the swingarm looks the same untill you see the shock mount
even the steering head is different then the 70

 

I just got the 2013 CRF110 Service manual. I'll take a look at the motor mounts.

 

I'd have to agree, I don't think the motor will bolt up. Frames are too different and the angle on the 110 motor looks different aswell.

Yup. Motor mounts are different.... Or it just has an additional mount.

 

Looks like its just an extra mount. I thought I read the crf110 is fuel injected, is this correct? The motor looks more like a nice 110 than a crf70. Just my opinion tho. I'm willing to bet its a completely different motor all together.

Go check the crf110 section, there are already quotes few members who have taken delivery of the bike. It does not have efi, just a carbs, which makes it much more realistic as a donor.
Just how to figure out how to bolt it in.

No it will not. member longmooie tested a crf110 in a z50 roller chassis and it will only fit with frame modifications aka welding.
None of the motor mounts line up.

 

Why not pick up one of these? Won't they bolt right up? Looks like a great deal to me.

I have a e start Honda replica motor.... I'm sure new ones are sold everyday... But I'd be willing to sell it if your looking for a used one. I have the wire harness for it too.
