I personally do not see any issue with selling this tool, I think only someone serious enough that will do more than one engine will think about getting one.

I agree with some of the other guys. I would not sell this tool. It might end up like selling just one or two. But one of those purchased could just be shipped to the next guy that needs it. and so on and so on.

We did this on the gs500 forum for the valve adjustment kit. 1 guy bought it and it has been to about 500 different addresses now over the course of about 8 years. Still working like a champ. Be interesting to see how it shakes down.
I am confused with your post at first you say,,, dont sell it?

Not sure what you reasoning is? then you say it could get loaned out to everyone if someone buys it?(is this good or bad in your view)

then you say how many people got good use out of the valve adjustment tool and it still works great.

Good for the buyer, bad for the seller IF everyone gets together and just ships the first one you sell around to anyone else to use.
Ok gottcha, I personally only figure on about 5-10 of the KLX units and 3-5 of the CRF50 units to be sold. Not a real money maker .

Very wise thing to do when your not comfortable doing your own work.

On the other hand if a person is comfortable in splitting and stripping then reassembling their own cases, this tool makes it very difficult to screw it up, some people might attempt to make others think case boring in some high tech process. even a "professional" engine builder here once said "Any idiot can do it."

With a little simple instruction, should be pretty much a breeze.

I gather that, but that wasn't my point. My comment was a rebuttal to wartpigs comment about sharing the tool. No need for me to share a tool, I can afford to pay someone to do it instead. That said, this thread is just beating a dead horse now. Moving on........

After working on the small Honda stud pattern case boring tool,I think I am going to make it two tools in one and it will be convertable for the small and mid block (most china) stud pattern as well.

That sounds great. Way better then having 3 different blown up cylinders crowding up my table. You keep up all this innovating and I might get to eat dinner on my dinner table someday

Just received my case boring tool today and just had to use it right away! It was so easy to use I did two sets of cases in no time! Now I don't have to wait weeks to get my cases back when I can do it my self in minutes..

Thanks Matt for a great tool that works perfect!!!

Nice freakin job! I don't want to pay anyone to do what I can do in my own garage and if I screw it up well I do a better job next time.
