So you have been on this forum almost as long as me and you don't post alot (like me), but you haven't figured out the answer to this question yet. That is why i recommended you use the search feature.

I have a Pitster X4. I wouldn't recommend you spend that much money on a backyard pitbike unless you have a backyard track. My ebay bike works just fine for cruising around the yard.

i seen them hows the medina sx 90 i seen it was only 688 is that right it looks like a solid bike what bout the carb Molkt is that a good brand

The Medina sx90 is a solid 50 based bike that is perfect for backyard use. When you are ready to purchase, PM me and Ill see about getting that price down a little for you :) As for the carb, molkt and oko are pretty much the best chinese carbs on the market imho. Once properly jetted each performs very well. Im currently running a molkt on my race bike. If you have any questions feel free to ask away!

I just bought a z50, and have a field behind my house where me and my buddies and girlfriends play ladder ball and other games while having a few beers (even though i dont condone drinking and riding). I keep the bike with me out there and everyone takes turns riding it while everyone else plays the other games, even the timid ladies get on it and have a blast. Inexpensive, and my honda starts up every kick, even when people dump the bike during our wheelie offs.

It all depends on your ability to perform routine maintenance or are you just a guy that wants to jump on a bike and ride it till the wheels fall off. if you are the later then buy a used z/crf/xr/klx. The bikes have been around awhile for a good reason. They are pretty much bullet proof in stock form.

For China bikes the X2 and X4 are very good beginner bikes for the backyard rider that knows how to maintain his equipment.

BTW...... Pitster has very good customer service but I have to admit their shipping department could use an overhaul...:)

I'd say it depends on how big the backyard is. The smaller the yard the smaller I'd go with the bike. I've got a xr50 and pitster x2. Both have held up with no complaints. The pitster obviously has more power and performance, but a 450 would kill it in both. I'd go with scale. Plus if your buddies have X I'd get an X.
