well i have been trying and trying to get one and cant. Im going to give up for now. the parts zb has rust in the tank and no keys. that right there makes the bike hard to restore.

Save your $$$$$ and find an unmolested one like I have.

Well worth the money and I bet you the bike will raise in value being the rarest Honda ever made. Good Investment? no dents or scratches.

Each dealer only got two zb's, back in 1988.

I am looking for one of these also. I DO NOT want to restore it or make it original, I want it to cruise around the streets and go to the store and stuff. Is that EBAY bike any good for that. I have the shop and skills to fabricate some stuff and am not worried about it looking original. I would like to put a hopped up GPX 125 motor in it, etc... Just need to be able to register it in New Mexico is all so that I can ride it on the street. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

103? Original? Wow! Now that I have an odometer on my Z50R, I notice how much I drive. I've probably put on 1000 miles since I got it.

Yes original - I bought it with 99 miles. Drove it around the neighborhood a little. It has minor imperfections though - driven or not it has been handled for the past 18 years.

I have it titled, licensed and insured though - so I can drive it on the street.

I have one that I will sell

I have one that I am willing to sell. I would want $1500 for it.

It is a one owner bike. It has never ever been modified in any way shape or form.

It is still registered with title ( as a non opr ) and with lic. plate

I will talk about the negatives first, then the positives.

This bike was parked/stored indoors ( positive ) however it was stored with gas in the tank. I just recently took off the tank and just dumped all the old smelly gas out of it.

When the bike was purchased new, it had a ding in the tank I would say the ding itself is of dime size however the dent it left could be as large as a half or silver dollar. There is one other ding in the tank on the side and towards the bottom, very minor ding can hardly even see it

I took off the mirrors a long time ago ( I know dumb ) and have no clue where they are today... so they are gone forever

The left front blinker amber lens cover has a crack on the side ( the other 3 are perfect )

The positives...

The frame, with the use of soap and water and wax will look like brand new. I can honestly say it is totally straight and no scratches or dents what so ever. This includes the swing arm. This would be true with the front forks, both wheels, the seat, the exhaust etc. The headlight is perfect the tailight is perfect... nothing broken... still have the factory key ( I may just have the one factory key, I will have to double check on that ).

Basically this bike was stored with gas in it and needs the work done when one leaves a bike parked for years with gas in it. The tank will need to be cleaned and then creamed. The carb will need to be cleaned/rebuilt. Again it is all 100% all original, minus the mirrors. No parts have ever been replaced. The bike has never been worked or wrenched on other than removing the tank and carb last month to get the gas out of the tank and to possibly start cleaning the carb ( but haven't done that as of yet ).

This bike may not be the best deal at $1500 but I will say if you want one, you will be very surprised out how perfect it really is.

I am 35 and I see this is a rare bike but the reality is I can't picture me really ever enjoying it on the street like I did when I was younger.

I don't want to deal with shipping the bike anywhere so this would be a local sale. If you are willing to drive to the bay area and pick this bike up for $1500 it is yours.

If you are VERY serious I will get some pictures, but I took the time to describe the bike. And if you are that serious just look at it in person rather asking for pics as it is exactly how I described it.

Thanks for reading.
