I know you cant run a 12v top end on a 6v z50 motor but can you run the 6v head on an xr50 motor. If so should you run the XR cylinder or the Z cylinder?

well, I have a spare 83 motor and a 76 motor that I can swap parts with. The x5 motor is almost complete (needs a top end rebuild) but I dont know how it ran before -previous owner did know either. I just wanted to see if the swap was possible so I can see how the motor ran. I would eventually rebuild it with the correct parts.
