Spare fuel for long rides into desert (This was necessar Moab UT trips)...

Blackfoot Real Estate - Idaho Falls Real Estate - Bingham County Real Estate

Yes, I understand the WTF and I know some mini riders would not understand actually riding small light motorcycle for 2 to 6 hours when their long ride is 5 loops around the back lawn.

The purpose of this bike is to have a motorcycle light enough to put into a SUV or hang on the bumper, and still be able to ride 50 to 125 mile exploring woods and deserts.

It's a sikk trail bike.

I put a ogm140 in it, 13/47 gear combo, mikuni vm26 carb,100-90-19 kenda rear tire, handlebar riser, hydro clutch and bark busters.I have gone up to 50 miles and 8hrs of ridding at a time on some nasty single tracks in the mountains at 9500'.

I have beat this thing for about 500-600 miles this summer and not a thing has broke(except lots of fenders).I did crack the original case due to a 146bbk and me not knowing about kick back.

It has been a good bike and taken me to a lot of neat places.

In this picture, the little single track I'm on threaded its way switchbacking to the ridge line at the top of the picture about 3k verticle feet above me.The great thing about this bike is its weight and the ease of negotiating tight trails.

This is the stock seat/fender and the wife's trials bike.

Sorry, I did not mean to hijack this thread.

Hey vince, I bought the engine from you! It's still running great(fingers crossed)

The wife's trials bike is a flat out mountain goat, the tubeless radial tires at 10lbs stick to the trail like velcro. The things you can do on it will scare ya!

The sikk is fun because you need more skill and finesse to get up the same trails.Heading up trails with that lump in your throat because you don't know if you can make it is for me the best part.

The stock seat is too hard for riding long distances on forest roads. It is not possible to stand up for an hour... it is good to sit down a cruise and not be sitting on a board, the factory seat il like a 2x4

To make the new seat and lower it as pictured required cutting 3/4 to 1" off the two rear supports, bending and re drilling.

The pegs are also 2 1/4" lower, bars 1 1/2" higher

Side exhaust was necessary to avoid the tire hitting the exhaust pipe.

I have two highly modified Sikk bikes, each with many hours of hard trail and forest riding.

We keep spare engines too!
