Picked up this Cherry 2007 Honda TRX90 for my boys. It probably has 20 hours of use on it.

Besides motor modifications, aftermarket parts support in my opinion, isn't that strong. I want a pair of quality Nerf Bars, aftermarket exhaust and some better tires.

Looks like Yoshimura for the exhaust, Nerf bars are either ridiculous in price, or cheap (DG brand) crap.

Any Asian or Chinese companies making good shocks for these? I have no plans for complete suspension conversions as this will not be raced. Just want it fun for when it's my turn to ride without breaking the bank.

I was surprised to learn this eStart model doesn't have a recoil. I was under the assumption the eStart models (2006-2013) had both. I was mistaken!

Cheap fun and about 2X the size as my ATC70.

I got a smoking deal at $1K. Let me reiterate this thing is mint. Market value here in my area for a 2006-2007 in average shape is around $1500. I got all the original paperwork, owners manual, tool kit from the original owner and the CD that the dealer gives with it. It's missing nothing.

In regards to the 300EX suspension conversations, talk with people before you go through the trouble. Some of the kits fit terrible. It's my opinion, if you want a TRX90 with 300EX suspension, buy a used 300EX and ride it.

I like the stock TRX90 because it fits in my truck and it gets around easy. If I wanted a full size ATV, I'd buy one. My kids will ride this around on the farm by my fishing hole and won't be jumping and doing stupid stuff until they are older. By that age, they can get a full-size ATV. Plus, I like riding the small ATV's better. If I could find a Raptor 125 used for this price, I'd go that route. I'm happy with this one.

The TB 114 kit requires a case bore but then you can rock the roller rocker head. Add some HD trx90 clutch springs, exhaust, and a carb you'll have something plain funny. Not sure the electric start will turn it over though, so you might have to rock a Takegawa decomp cam in there...direct swap.

When the kids are done beating on it, I'll rock the motor mods. In the meantime, I'll disconnect the 4th gear rev limiter (pink wire on the CDI) to gain a much higher top speed.

No reason to tear into a mint stock motor when I will be riding my ATC70 most of the time at the fishing hole.
