The 08+ have a upgraded output shaft, which is a must for built motors

 

i plan on building the motor which would mean i would add the output shaft alog with a stroker kit, or i might try to find an already built motor. do the 08+ engine bolt into the 04 chassis???

thanks cokeham. im just waiting for him to send me some pics of the bike and then ill be working out the details. hopefully ill be the proud owner of it next weekend

 

the shift shaft on the 04 will be smaller than the 11 but that shouldn't be an issue

 

ya ill probly just run it this year and then over winter sell the motor and buy a modded 08 or newer motor

 

as long as everything works out this weekend i will be the proud owner of the bike. will start a build thread as soon as i can afford a modded engine for it.
