heres the deal. My buddy is looking to buy a bike. hes looking for a new crf style, because they are easier to find. but the trails around here are all sand, and we were thinking about putting a set of z50 wheels on his crf, i know that it would look goonish, but i was sure that i had seen it done before, but couldn't find it on here anywhere. Could someone please give me some info, or a link to it somewhere, or pics, or anything. also, some of it was just to say we did, and have a more custom bike than anyone around here. thanks

You will have to use a Z50 front end, the Z front wheel will not fit in between the stock CRF front forks. Here is a setup from a while ago, with the complete Z50 front end on a CRF/XR frame

this was a cool hybrid gooner bike I put together. It can be done. The rear was a direct fit. the front takes some work but that was some of the fun ;-)

he was able to do it.. w/ the other front end!!!

so i guess it can be done !!

actually dirtbkr188 I used xr75 forks in xr70 clamps. cwbride put the wheel into sik50 se forks and jcminis did the same wheel in xr70 forks. just depends wich style front end u want. if you want the stock ride height then z50 forks are the way to go.
