I think they would be too wide.

 

this was a cool hybrid gooner bike I put together. It can be done. The rear was a direct fit. the front takes some work but that was some of the fun ;-)

 

if you get a z50 front end it can be done

 

I think you can just flip the front wheel around so the drum is on the left side of the crf fork. Pretty sure somebody did this around here already..

 

You will have to use a Z50 front end, the Z front wheel will not fit in between the stock CRF front forks. Here is a setup from a while ago, with the complete Z50 front end on a CRF/XR frame

That other front end that you refer to is from an XR80 or 100, sport, it isn't the stock CRF/XR50 front end, by any means...

 

actually dirtbkr188 I used xr75 forks in xr70 clamps. cwbride put the wheel into sik50 se forks and jcminis did the same wheel in xr70 forks. just depends wich style front end u want. if you want the stock ride height then z50 forks are the way to go.
