try factory metals bars from xr50.com there only 30 bucks and ive been running them for about 10months and havent bent them and i crash alot and crash hard, hard enuff to go end over end not bend the bars and i broke my shoulder blade, yah bmx packs!

Don't buy bars from a 50 company. They are all too wide, too tall and just plain stupid. Go to danscomp.com and get a set of Poverty bars. They are the absolute best bars for a 50 and way cheaper than anything else.(Got mine for around $20) They are made from .083" thick 4130. I have crashed with these about a hundred times and they haven't ever bent.

Redline make great race BMX parts, but I dont think thier products could handle the abuse of the fifty.

I already have a set of P3's in the mail. They should be here Wednesday. I'll let you all know how they work.

i have two bros and bent the s$*# outt athem with on crash.....i would have to say for them being a 1 1/8" thick...they SUCK!! heavy as hell and they bend WAY too easy. ive been through em all....and the p3's definitly took the most abuse so far.

I find it odd that you say the Redlines aren't strong.

The Forklifter is what Sik50's put on their pro bike at the MinimotoSX.

I don't think they woud have put them on if they weren't strong enuff to take the abuse. If you saw it, then you'd know that they are very robust bars.

also heavy? no?

p3 bars weigh next to nothing and hold up VERY well. i never had experience with redline bars for motox but for bmx they were a good bar.......im sure ive crashed ALOT harder on my fiddy than i have ever crashed on my bmx bike...even ghosting it down a 1/2 mile long hill. that was comedy...lol but they are a good bar too.

They probably do have a couple sets of stronger bars. I didnt mean to make it sound like all of the redline stuff is weak. I was mainly talking about the aluminum bars. I cant run 4 piece BMX bars because Im running an MX clamp.

I have a set of MX bars sitting in my garage from my Joker kit. I didnt like them. They hit my knees, the BMX bars feel much better. There are a lot of BMX bars that work fine on MX clamps, you just have to make sure they are wide enough.
