Yup, Ill second the P3 bars, they are super nice, and you certainly arnt going to bend them.

 

Thanks guys, I saw those bar and they look like they would work perfectly since Im running a MX clamp. Any recommendations on who carries those bars, or just order them from P3?

 

yea i just got me a set of thsoe bars......over half the weight of my fast 50 bars......also the bend is slightly different giving you a more aggresive setup.



i already crashe don them HARD!!!! they bent back in the clamps before they would bend.....super tough and super light....you cant go wrong.

Best bmx bars...... a set of STANDARD lil deuce bars. Lifetime warranty against bending or breaking.

I was thinking about going with the Kink Redwing bars, they have a lifetime warranty also. But I think Im going to try the P3's first.

 

i would......no need for a lifetime warranty when they take some serious abuse from me....when i say i went down hard i mean HARD......went over the bars and the bars were first to hit...besides my wheel.......and they held up soooooo well.



sont forget the weight factor...those lifetime beefy bars have a lifetime warranty for a reason....the probably make em so fat and heavy that they wont ever break....but the p3's are light as a feather.



u make the decision from there.....oh yea they also dont look like a normal BMX bar......have that dirt bike look to them..and the bend is more dirt bike style

Dang, I need to subscribe to Mini Moto one of these days. Weight isnt as much of an issue for me as price and durability. If I bend a set of P3 bar, you better believe I'll let you know. :lol:

YA THEY WORK GREAT ON THE XTREME I HAVE HAD A FEW GUYS TELL ME THEY ARE A PERFECT FIT. THEY TELL ME THE BAR MOUNTS ARE REALLY WIDE AND THAT THESE ARE THE PERFECT WIDTH WHERE THE BAR MOUNTS BOLT ON

 

Thats my biggest problem with BMX bars. Im running the MX clamps, so I need bars that are wider at the bottom then most BMX bars are.

 

i have the fast 50s bmx bars and they are really strong i really want the p3 racing bars though

 

yea.....let me tell you....night and day difference in the two........i just threw away my fast50 bars cuz they suck! i couldnt believe the weight difference alone......and the look,.........p3 bars FOR SURE!

try factory metals bars from xr50.com there only 30 bucks and ive been running them for about 10months and havent bent them and i crash alot and crash hard, hard enuff to go end over end not bend the bars and i broke my shoulder blade, yah bmx packs!

 

Don't buy bars from a 50 company. They are all too wide, too tall and just plain stupid. Go to danscomp.com and get a set of Poverty bars. They are the absolute best bars for a 50 and way cheaper than anything else.(Got mine for around $20) They are made from .083" thick 4130. I have crashed with these about a hundred times and they haven't ever bent.

I bent a set of Poverty Bars, thats what I'm replacing! Now I have two poverty bikes... Both with bent handlebars. :lol:

Either the Forklifter or the FS880. Cut about 3/4" off the ends..



The Mini looks cool, but I think the aluminum would bend too easy.

 

Redline make great race BMX parts, but I dont think thier products could handle the abuse of the fifty.



I already have a set of P3's in the mail. They should be here Wednesday. I'll let you all know how they work.

 

Yah dont go with redline. My two brothers bmx bars are thicker than any of my friends bars. I've probalby crashed a milllion times and i still havent bent them. The bars as SUPER thick in diameter, good for strenth
