After a little work today it looks like my 94 will be my dedicated street machine next will be installing the tb 88cc stage 2 kit and hd clutch but I have a hard time opening a motor that runs so well.

If it ain't broke don't fix it......

Hello All,

Newbie here from Toronto Canada. I have purchased a 1984 CT70 for my daughter. I would love to do a complete restore, but i will have to see what kind of time I have.

nice looking bike, looks like you have a few years to restore it for her and get it registered for the road. Then she will have to get her motorcycle license............

Miss Orange was an ebay find from 2008, was pretty rough mechanically but the paint is fair. Finally got cracking on it this year, yeah I'm slow but methodical. Tried to keep everything factory stock HKO as much as possible. Did go with new chain and sprockets and bumped the final drive ratio from 3.1:1 to 2.1:1. Just a guess on my part but I got lucky. First gear is still plenty low and she will wind up to 40mph on the road.

Moody Blue showed up two weeks after Orange. She is going on the operating table next and should be alot less trouble.

this is my buddys Super cheap build I helped on It's still not done but almost there.
Pic when we first got it

then after.

well figured id share my 1970 ct70. has a piranha 140cc swap, cheap exhaust. mikuni vm26 carb. built this thing for wheelies. its a fun bike. top speed so far 63mph. front forks are starting to bend from coming down from 50+ mph wheelies :/ but here she is.
you might want to look at later model ct70 forks as they should be more resistant to bending from the 50mph+ wheelie landings. but sweet ride in any case
